Apple Press Conference News: White iPhone 4 Coming at the End of July
And there we have it folks! They ship at the end of July. That means, in all likelihood, Saturday, July 31, they will ship out to stores, and be available from then on. The Apple store online is still not taking pre-orders for it. I'll be staying on top of that, and let you know as soon as it's available.

Yes, but when can I reserve my phone for store pick-up? The Apple Store site still says unavailable.
ReplyDeleteThe black iPhone 4 has a shipping delay of 3 weeks in the online store. They could start taking white iPhone orders now with the same "ships: 3 weeks" message. Why don't they? I think the order delay for most people will be 3 weeks once they start shipping at the end of the month.

I check at least 3 times a day to see when to order white iphone. :(

ReplyDeleteJust watched the press conference video. Steve Jobs says the white iPhone quantities will be limited at first (at the end of the month) then ramping up as fast as they can.

ReplyDeleteI can't wait, my 3G just crapped out on me. So I had to upgrade my other line to a 3GS. Will keep my eyes on this blog to see when we all be able to pre order a white!

ReplyDeleteWhen I went into the AT&T store on last Saturday, I talked to a guy who said the 27th of July it would come out. It certainly fits the 'end of July' area.
ReplyDeleteall i want is my white 32g iphone4. I still have my preorder from Bestbuy. Im the only one left. everyone else went black that wanted the white because they wanted the phone badly. So my preorder thru bestbuy which was done on the 15th of June is now up to position 1.

ReplyDeleteToday Apple announces that the White iPhone 4 "will not be available until later this year." Talk about indefinite! Is it it worth giving up 5 months of iPhone 4 ownership to get white? Unfortunately I'm beginning to think not.
ReplyDeleteI guess may as well wait for Iphone 5 now. The fucked up thing is they new yet said its coming end july to take some heat off.
ReplyDeleteI don't believe they lied about it. They were optimistic that they could solve the problem this month, but have bitten the bullet and decided to take more time to solve the problem. After antennagate they can't afford to have a white model that fades or flakes over time.
ReplyDeletei just got call from my friend who works at ATT, he said the white iphone suppose to come out end of this month, but it have delay again, he said it might not be out till nov/dec... is this true? any update so far?
